Michael O'Brien

Michael John O'Brien, age 79, of O'Fallon, Missouri passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023 in O'Fallon, Missouri. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on March 19, 1944 to Reginald and Eva O'Brien (nee Miller).
Michael was a Service Man at Laclede Gas for 33 years. He was married to Mary "Bunny" O'Brien for 49 years.

Michael loved dogs and taking walks. He enjoyed gardening with his wife and then sitting outside to enjoy their hard work.

Michael is survived by his Wife, Mary O'Brien; Two Daughters, Laurie (Kelly Welch) O'Brien, Johanna (Will Lambert) O'Brien; Two grandchildren, Cole Welch, Hannah Welch; Seven Sisters, Ann (Ken) Woods, Sharon (Paul) Rhodes, Gina (Bill) Durst, Linda (Joe Maniaci) O'Brien, Patti (John) Shannon, Kathy McCulloch, Elizabeth (Glenn Cheng) O'Brien; Two Brothers, Dave O'Brien, Steve (Jean) O'Brien; and a host of other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Reginald J. O'Brien; Mother, Eva O'Brien; and Two Sisters, Kay O'Brien, Peggy O'Brien.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 13, 2023 from 11:00am until 12:00pm at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Interment will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at 1:00pm.
