Michael Voegelie

Michael Andrew Voegelie, age 72, of O'Fallon, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 in O'Fallon, Missouri. He was born in Monahans, Texas on December 28, 1949 to Carl and Genevieve Voegelie (nee Cooper).
Mike is survived by his children, Michael R. (Laura) Voegelie, John (Darlene) Voegelie, Cindy (Brett) McKenna, Sandy (Glenn) Tiller, Shelly (Jim) Pyrtle; grandchildren, James "JR", Cody, Austin, Courtney, Carley, Lane, and Colton; sister, Sue Dunham; and special friend Jerry Brown, along with a host of other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl C. and Genevieve (nee Cooper) Voegelie, his wife, Pat Voegelie, grandson, Nathan Zimmerman, and his siblings, Kaye Beckmann and Karen (Donald) Voegelie-Allen.
Mike enjoyed deer hunting and trophy bass fishing. He was a member of Teamster Local 610 and employed by Schnucks Transportation Division for over 17 years. Mike loved spending time on the beaches in Florida. He was especially proud of his time guiding for John Fox's bass fishing excursions. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Mike will be greatly missed by all. However, the deer in Missouri and the bass in Florida will not miss him at all.
Visitation will be January 20, from 3:00 pm until 6:30 pm at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters 63376. Service will be at 6:30 pm at St. Peters Chapel. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Nancy Goeke Scholarship Foundation at Lindell Bank, 3201 N Highway 94, St. Charles 63301 or a charity of your choice.
