Mike Adams

Michael Gerard Adams, age 59, of O'Fallon, Missouri passed away on Friday, May 10, 2024 in Lake Saint Louis, Missouri. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on January 8, 1965 to Clarence and Sandra Adams (nee Henn).

Mike was a retired Police Officer for the Shrewsbury Police Department where he worked for 30 years and the St. Louis County Sheriff's Department as a Bailiff for almost 5 years. He was married to Kelly Adams for 11 years.

Mike was an avid fisherman. He also loved to hunt unsuccessfully. His best friend was his beloved plott hound, Yoda. Mike never met a stranger and had a mischievous sense of humor. He was incredibly helpful to anyone he met. It was this trait that made him a devoted public servant. More than anything, Mike loved to spend time with his friends and family.

Mike is survived by his Wife, Kelly Adams; Daughter, Emily (John) Singer; Grandchild, Evelyn Singer; Mother, Sandra (Joe) Hejnal; Two Brothers, David (Lisa) Adams, Jeffrey (Janny) Adams; Three Step-Sisters, Jeannie (David) Bateman, Mary Kay Robinson, Judy Hejnal; Step-Brother, Joe (Kim) Hejnal; and a host of other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Clarence Bernard Adams; and Uncle, Charles M. Henn.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Additional visitation will take place the following day, Sunday, May 19, 2024 from 11:00am until 1:00pm. A funeral ceremony will immediately follow at 1:00pm.
