Monroe Frank Brewer, Jr.

Monroe F. Brewer, Jr. entered into eternal life on January 20, 2025. Beloved husband of Barb (nee Yancey) for 56 years; loving father of Chris Brewer, Liz Brewer, and Bob (fiancée Maureen Hooker) Brewer; dear brother of Kathy (Roland) Jackson; dear brother-in-law of Bob (Linda) Yancey. Preceded in death by his parents, Monroe F. Brewer, Sr. and Grace Brewer. 

He served in the Navy Civil Engineer Corps (Seabees) from 1966 until his retirement in 1996 at the rank of Captain. He worked as a Civil Engineer and Engineering Manager for over 40 years, retiring from MSD in 2008. 

A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 26, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, West County Chapel, 2211 Clarkson Road, Chesterfield, Missouri. A funeral Mass will take place the next morning on Monday, January 27, at 10:30 am, at St. Alban Roe Catholic Church, 2001 Shepard Road, Wildwood, Missouri. A committal ceremony will follow in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at 12:30 pm.
