Norman R. Ransdell

Norman Robert Ransdell age 90, of O'Fallon, Missouri passed away April 16, 2016 at a local Assisted Living Center.
He was born September 24, 1925, in Hannibal, Missouri, a son of Edward and Myrtle Ransdell. Norman graduated from Hannibal High School and after graduation he was soon called to serve his country with the Army, serving in the Pacific Theatre during WWII attaining the rank of Lieutenant. He was united in marriage to the former Betty Clark. Norman retired from management after working at J. J. Newberry for over 45 years. One of his greatest joys in life and retirement was traveling.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his Wife Betty, and eight siblings.
Survivors include his Daughter, Detra J. Petty and Son, Jeffrey L. (Mystic) Ransdell; Grandchildren, Debi (Ken) Kreps, Laura (Jeremy) Sankey, Joshua Ransdell, Noah (Jennifer) Ransdell; great-grandchildren, Daniel Jochens, Nicholas Jochens and Melanie Kreps.
