Orvilla "Mitzi" Simpson, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2024, in O’Fallon, Missouri, at the age of 97. Born on October 22, 1926, in St. Louis, Missouri, she graced this world for nearly a century, enveloping her loved ones with warmth, love, and an indomitable spirit.

Mitzi was a woman whose life was woven with the threads of family and faith. The joy of her existence flourished within her home, a haven filled with laughter and memories that she so lovingly cultivated. Her legacy is carried on by her three devoted sons and their beloved spouses. With nine grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild, she leaves behind a remarkable lineage that reflects her nurturing spirit and the love she imparted.

In celebration of a life well-lived, friends and family are invited to gather at All Saints Catholic Church in St. Peters, Missouri. A visitation will take place on October 10, 2024, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, followed by a Mass at 11:00 AM. As a final farewell, she will be laid to rest at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery during a committal service scheduled to begin at 1:15 PM.
