Pamela Kay (Gresco) Derrington, 81, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024 in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
Pamela was born on December 25, 1942 in Granite City, Il to Joseph and Dorothy Lorraine (Yankey) Gresco.
Pamela married her love, William Terry Derrington, on October 28, 1961. Their time together was cut short when William passed December of 2000. Although they haven’t seen each other in quite some time, we are sure he was waiting for her at the gates of Heaven with Jesus.
Pamela is survived by her 3 children, Maria (Kenneth) Rickermann, William Derrington II, and Karla Zweifel; 6 grandchildren, Alyssa (Mike), Halie (Trevor), Zachary, Joshua (Maddie), Justin, and Hannah; 2 great grandchildren, Lucas and Reese; and her brother, Terry Gresco.
Pamela was preceded in death by her husband, William and brother, John Gresco.
Pamela resided in St. Charles, MO and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cottleville, MO.
Pam loved animals, collecting jewelry, and traveling on cruise ships. She was fond of shopping, swimming, and her Thursday night ice cream. Pam recently became a great grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her two infant great grandchildren. Pam has always been very loyal and close to her family. Her family is very saddened by her passing and will always remember her as the vivacious, exuberant, and loving matriarch that she was.
