Pamela Susan (Huke) Ourth, passed away at her home in St. Charles, Missouri on Monday, August 1, 2022. She and her beloved pets, Jake and Fluffy, were overcome by smoke in a home fire. At the time of her death, Pam was 63 years old, having been born on November 29, 1958.
Pam was preceded in death by her husband, Paul E, Ourth (2004); parents Mary Ann (Gross) Huke and Charles Paul Huke; brother Charles Jeffrey Huke; sister Lisa (Huke) O'Connor; brother-in-law James Thompson; and cousins Michael Gross and Debby (Gross) Carl. She is survived by sisters Cheryl Ann (Huke) Thompson and Judith Lynn (Huke) Feldewerth (Joseph); brother-in-law Charles O'Connor; nephews James Thompson and Matthew Feldewerth; nieces Ashley O'Connor, Kristen Feldewerth (Carter Yarnell), and Sarah O'Connor; great nephews Skyylar Gaddy and Hudson Feldewerth; great niece Hadley Burkett; cousins Timothy Gross, Theresa (Gross) Russell (Bob), Mark Gross, and Daniel Gross; and life-long friends Mary Mossinghoff Callahan and Debbie Schnelting Renfro.
Some of Pam's favorite memories include being named Schnucks Checker of the Year, cheering on her nieces' and nephews' baseball, softball, and soccer teams, walking her dog and fishing. Pam had the most incredible smile that could light up a room and was tenacious in getting answers. If she loved you, there was nothing she wouldn't do for you. Like her parents before her, she suffered with bouts of sadness but found joy in helping others. She loved outdoor decorating for every holiday you ever heard of and invented other reasons to change flags, duck clothes or banners to celebrate life. She will be missed by family, friends and others who knew her.
A memorial will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home in St. Charles from 5 pm to 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2022, with a brief service at 7:00 PM and private burial at Lakewood Park Cemetery at a later time.
