Patricia Lynn Beutler

July 8, 1971 — May 6, 2022

Patricia Lynn Beutler, age 50, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Friday, May 6, 2022 in Saint Charles, Missouri. She was born in Scott County, Missouri on July 8, 1971 to Clifford and Kathleen Wikoff (nee Buxton).

Patricia is survived by her husband, John J. Beutler; children, John J. (Aeysha) Beutler, II and Miranda L. Beutler; grandson, John J. Beutler, III; father Clifford Wikoff; mother, Kathleen Wikoff; brother, Thomas Wikoff; nieces and nephews, Cody Wikoff, Tricia Wikoff, Joshua Hemberger, and Katie Hemberger; and brother-in-law, Walter (Theresa) Hemberger. Also survived by a host of other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Tina Wikoff; and grandparents, Wayne and Martha Buxton.

Patricia "Patty" opened her home up to all who needed a warm hug or a place to stay. She loved volunteering numerous hours at Connection Christian Church in the children's ministry, where she enjoyed decorating for VBS and teaching children of all ages the love of God. Patty made sure all children felt included, she often went out of her way to make sure her Sunday school classes were exciting and memorable.

Patty took great pride in her career as a Communication Technician. She received many awards throughout her 28 year career at AT&T.

She was a caring mother, wife, mentor, and friend. Everyone who met Patty instantly loved her for her warm and outgoing personality. No matter how much time lapsed between catching up with old friends, Patty could make it feel like it was only moments from their last conversation. She was a giving person who worked in the background and never asked for recognition for all the countless things she did. Patty enjoyed spending time with family and friends, often trying new experiences. Whether it was exploring museums, trying new restaurants, or seeing new shows at the Muny or Fox, she enjoyed it all. She was adventurous and enjoyed different forms of culture, often causing those around her to expand their own views in the process.

When her kids were younger, she loved taking them to parks and always exploring all that was available. She was grateful she had the ability to spend the last few years doing the same with her grandson, Johnny.

Patty truly enjoyed life to the fullest. She was fearless, headstrong, and never afraid of trying something new.
She will be truly missed by all.

The family would like to extend their gratitude towards Christine White who has been a dear family friend and contributed much of her time helping during this time.
