Patricia A. Bishop née Engel "Patty", age 71, of Warrenton, Missouri passed away on Friday, July 24, 2020 in St. Charles, Missouri. She was born in St. Louis, on September 21, 1948. She married Mark Bishop on June 16, 1989 in St. Charles, MO.
Patty attended Roosevelt High School, Class of 1969, and worked for Trans World Express Airlines. Most recently she was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She spread her love and compassion everywhere she went. She enjoyed movies, painting, and quilting with her loyal dog Banner at her side but especially loved spending precious time with her family.
Patty is survived by her siblings Michael Engel of Denver, CO; Mary Engel of O'Fallon, MO, Norma Engel of O'Fallon, MO; Karen Huckeby of O'Fallon; William Engel (Jennifer) of O'Fallon, MO; and Tina St. John of Trinity, Texas.
Her children Angela Ledbetter of Warrenton, MO; Walter (Megan) Ledbetter of O'Fallon, MO; James (Deanna) Ledbetter of Warrenton, MO; and Chase (Shawn) Ledbetter of Wentzville, MO. Beloved memaw to 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren. She brought so much love and joy to our lives and all those around her.
Patty is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Mark Bishop, and her brother George Engel.
Memorial Services will be 1:00 pm Friday, July 31, 2020 at St. Louis Chapel, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376 with Deacon Pete Gounis officiating. Visitation will be prior to services from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: GBS/CIPD Foundation International, 375 East Elm Street, Suite 101., Coshohocken, PA 19428.
