Patricia Rau

Patricia Rau, age 82, of Saint Louis, Missouri passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2024. She was born in Saint Louis, on August 23, 1941 to Eugene and Ruth Walsh (nee Unger).

Patricia was a kind, generous and loving person to everyone she met. She would often be the first person to help someone in need. Patricia was passionate about her work as a florist, and took pride in every piece she created. Patricia made lifelong friends with many of the people she worked with throughout her life. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Patricia was always giving of herself to care for her family. Above all else, she was devout in her faith.

Patricia is survived by her son, James M. Rau; her grandchildren, Matthew M. Frank, and Emily A. Frank; her brother, Dan (Fran) Walsh. She will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Rau; her daughter, Christine E. Frank; her father, Eugene E. Walsh; her mother, Ruth Walsh; and her brother, Michael Walsh.

A memorial mass will take place on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 5020 Rhodes Ave, St. Louis, MO 63109.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Patricia's name may be made to any cancer charity of the donor's choice.
