Patricia Ann Vomund, age 90, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Friday, July 14, 2023 in Saint Charles, Missouri. She was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas on January 11, 1933 to William and Mary Carter (nee Barham).
Patricia was the Secretary at Louisa Foods for 27. She worked with John Baldetti who was not only a boss but a close friend as well of Pat and her family.
Patricia graduated from Jonesboro High School. She then moved to St. Louis where she was raised by Joseph Fritz Mecurio and her mother Mary. She then married William A. Skeele III and raised her three children. Patricia remarried later to Joseph Vomund of St. Paul, MO. They were married 19 years until Joe's passing. Patricia dearly loved her family.
Patricia is survived by her Two Sons, Clarence Eugene Skeele of Saint Charles, MO, William Amos (Linda) Skeele of Portland, OR; Daughter, Leslie Anne (Thomas) Jones of Saint Charles, MO; Five grandchildren, Matthew (Zandra) Jones, Patricia Jones, Daniel (Anta Gamma) Jones, Brandon (Keri) Cannady, Chris Cannady; Eight great-grandchildren, Maya Cannady, Kaylee Cannady, Rory Cannady, Caelyn Jones, Shane Jones, Coen Jones, Anabella Rademacher, Adelina Jones; Two Step-Sons, Jerry (Mary Kay) Nolen, Randy Vomund; Three Step-Daughters, Helen (Vito) DiAngelo, Evelyn (Keith) Sarber, Beverly Vomund; and a host of other family members and friends, especially her Brother and Sister-in-Law, Bill and Ruth Vomund and their two Sons, Brian (Barb) and Jeff Vomund.
She was preceded in death by her Father, William Lester Carter; Mother, Mary Carter and Sister, Beverly Jean (Frank) Igo.
Mass will be 11:00 am Thursday, July 27, 2023 at St. Paul's Catholic Church with Father Blessing officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 11:00 prior to mass also at St. Paul's Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the St. Joseph Indian School and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Masses can be offered as well.
