Norman Patrick McCracken, age 79, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Friday, April 29, 2022 in Saint Charles, Missouri. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on July 2, 1942 to Norman and Margaret McCracken (nee Weikel).
He was married to Joann McCracken for 30 years this summer. They enjoyed traveling, especially going on cruises and visiting the beach.
Patrick was an incredibly intelligent man, obtaining a PhD in Psychology and a ThD in Theology. He spent a lot of time at his private practice counseling people each day. Patrick was also a teacher of Psychology at Lindenwood University, Missouri Baptist University, and St. Louis Community College. He was a member of Harvester Christian Church and enjoyed active involvement there. Patrick liked cooking, gardening, and working with his hands. He loved his cat, Cleo.
Patrick is survived by his Wife, Joann McCracken; Daughter, Candice Callahan and husband, Joe Bogdanovich; Son, Kevin Callahan; Son, Christopher McCracken; Son, Eric McCracken; Daughter, Jennifer Cloud and husband, Chris; Sister, Judy Chaney; Brother, Mike McCracken and wife, Janis; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Norman McCracken and Mother, Margaret McCracken (nee Weikel).
Services will be held at Harvester Christian Church, 2950 King's Crossing in St. Charles, Missouri on Friday, May 6, 2022. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm - 6:00pm with the funeral service to follow at 6:00pm.
