Paul D. Griffith

Paul D. Griffith, age 79, of High Ridge, Missouri passed away on Friday, January 6, 2023. He was born in Salem, Missouri on April 23, 1943 to John and Helen Griffith (nee Copeland).

Paul was a quiet, intelligent and introspective man who didn't speak often, but when he did, it was typically something delivered with a touch of his dry humor. He was a man who loved and served his country, and after receiving instruction in equipment repair while in the U. S. Air Force, he eventually landed with AT&T and worked for them for over 25 years, hardly ever missing a day of work. Paul enjoyed working on jigsaw and crossword puzzles in his later years, and attending anything his granddaughters were participating in at any given time. If his loved ones needed help, he was there. He was the steady turtle who finally won his race, but he will be missed beyond measure by those left behind.

Paul is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Betty Griffith (nee Carver); daughters, Faedra Camden and Amanda (Matthew) Colvin; granddaughters, Ryleigh Colvin and Sarah Colvin; sister-in-law, Dorma Redding; and cousin, Katherine (the late Clarence) Colvin. Also survived by loving nieces, nephews, and a host of other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Helen Griffith; brother, William Griffith; and sister, Sylvia Robb.
