Pearl Ruth Rojano

February 25, 1931 — December 16, 2024

St. Peters, Missouri

Pearl Ruth Rojano, passed away on December 16, 2024, in St. Peters, Missouri. Pearl was born to Albert and Emilia Gay on February 25, 1931, in Brownsville, Texas, Pearl carried a spirit that was both nurturing and fiercely devoted to her family and community.

Educated with a determination to excel as a secretary, Pearl found great joy in her work. Among her most noteworthy achievements was a two-year stint in Saudi Arabia, where she worked with the Corps of Engineers. Those years were filled with experiences that significantly enriched her life.

Known for her kind-hearted personality, Pearl cherished the simple pleasures of life. She had a remarkable talent for crocheting beautiful blankets, a labor of love for her grandchildren. Her afternoons were often spent immersed in the gentle challenges of word puzzle games, showcasing her sharp mind and playful spirit. Pearl was also an avid traveler, with special fondness for both Hawaii and Paris. In a beautiful tradition, each grandchild was whisked away to the destination of their choice for an unforgettable high school graduation present, creating memories that will forever be held dear.

Pearl's faith was a guiding force in her life, deeply devoted to her church. Her charitable heart always sought opportunities to give back, reflecting her belief in the importance of community and generosity.

The love of Pearl's life was her late husband, Charles Rojano, who preceded her in death. Together, they built a family that flourished under their care and guidance. She leaves behind her cherished children: Gerald Rojano, Vincent (Sandra) Rojano, and Victoria (Allan) Wood. A proud grandmother, Pearl is survived by her grandchildren Emilia (Jared) Johnson, Jennifer (Cory) Larson, Ryan Rojano, Vincent (Rachel) Rojano II, Jessica Thornhill, Kathryn (Evan) Ryan, and Daniel (Samantha) Wood, along with 13 great-grandchildren who brought endless joy to her life.

Pearl’s legacy extends beyond her immediate family; she will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom were touched by her warmth and kindness. Her family and friends will hold dear the countless memories of treasuring time spent with her, embodying the love, laughter, and strength she shared.
