Peggy Koelling

Peggy Koelling, age 80, of O'Fallon, Missouri passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024. She was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on March 31, 1943 to William and Mary Gaither (nee Golden).

Peggy loved spending time with her family and friends. Those who knew Peggy, will forever remember her giving and humble nature. She was always there to help when someone needed her. Peggy always grew strong relationships whether it was her family, her retiree friends from Boeing or her newly made friends at her senior living home. She was an avid reader, loved playing bingo and going to the casino.

Peggy is survived by her sons, Bruce Koelling, and Mike Koelling; her son-in-law, William Cook; her grandchildren, David Cook, Tanya Cook, Jenny (Matt) Little, Kelcie Cook, Kaylee Koelling (Dan Gipson) , and Keesha Koelling; her great-grandchildren, Derrick Jr., Bailey, Faith, Shayla, Branden, Kiersten, Kylie, Kaiden, Troy, Hazen, Sonnie, Annie, Noah, Anthony, Dillon, and Penelope. She will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. "Bud" Koelling; her father, William Gaither; her mother, Mary Gaither; her daughter, Debra Cook; her daughter-in-law, Kim Koelling; her grandson, Michael Cook; her great-granddaughter, Paris; her brothers, Alfred Gaither, Harold Gaither, Jim Gaither, Robert Gaither, Virgil Gaither and Richard Gaither; and her sisters, Geraldine Melton, Jean Ray, and Darlene Silvey.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm followed by a funeral service at 6:00 pm, all on Friday, March 8, 2024 at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Interment will be private.
