Peggy Shuler

Peggy "Gerry" Geraldean Shuler, 84, of O'Fallon, Missouri. She passed away on January 26, 2018 at St. Joseph Hospital West. She was born on June 29, 1933 in Clever, Missouri. She was the daughter to Sanford and Opal (Ellis) Little. Gerry was married to the love of her life, Jearld "Jerry" Shuler for over 62 years. Gerry and Jerry lived in Florissant, Missouri for over 42 years before moving to O'Fallon, Missouri a short time ago.

Gerry was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an avid Uno and Skip Bo player and crafter. Family was the center of Gerry's life from being involved in her children's scout packs and activities to caring for her grandchildren. Friends and family were always welcome in her home for a cup of coffee or a game of cards. Her kindness and ability to make anyone feel welcomed and valued will be remembered by all who knew her. She had an amazing outlook on life and possessed an incredible internal strength and will all the way to the end of her life. She will truly be missed by all those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Along with her loving husband, Jerry, Gerry is survived by her sons, Steve (Cheryl) Shuler and Kent (Dawn) Shuler both of St. Peters, MO; daughters, Tami (Jim) Tobin of St. Peters, MO and Brenda Shuler of Troy, MO; granddaughters, Melanie Tobin, Heather (Andy) Vaughn and Marley Shuler; Grandsons, Eric (Tiffany Benfatto) Conway, Dylan Conway, Brandon Tobin, Nick Shuler and Dane Shuler.
Gerry was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Dustin Conway.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 11:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters.
