Phyllis Robinson, age 86, of O'Fallon, Missouri passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024. She was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on September 25, 1937 to Charles and Catherine Knox (nee Hilse).
Phyllis was a passionate traveler, embracing the opportunity to explore various destinations throughout her life. Her commitment to community involvement was evident in her membership with the Saint Louis 1904 World's Fair Society. Phyllis also had a creative flair, finding joy in decorating her home for every holiday, which brought warmth and festivity to her surroundings. Additionally, she was a die-hard fan of Jeopardy, showcasing love for knowledge and trivia. Her vibrant spirit and enthusiasm for life will be fondly remembered by those who knew her.
Phyllis is survived by her husband, Gordon Robinson; her daughters, Catherine "Rosie" (Steve) Rosenthal, and Victoria (Bob) Swanick; her grandchildren, Kate Silliman, Steve (Stephanie) Rosenthal, Tara (Joe) Patton, Betsy (Brian) Crowley; and her 11 great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Knox; her mother, Catherine Knox; her sisters, Josephine Abbott, and Sandy Wade; and her brother, Richard Knox;
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 11:00 am followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am, all on Monday, September 23, 2024 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 8945 Veterans Memorial Parkway, O'Fallon, Missouri 63366. Burial will be private
