Priscilla Teresa Chaves A, age 81 of St. Peters MO fortified with the Sacraments of the Holy Mother Church on Monday June 6, 2016 in St. Louis, MO. She was born in San Jose Costa Rica, on October 15, 1934 to Eliseo Chaves and Mercedes Alvarado H. Priscilla was a devout Catholic, she loved reading and reciting poetry, loved to sing and pray and always enjoyed time with her family.
Priscilla is survived by her Daughter, Beatriz (Anthony) Romeo of Saint Peters, MO; a Son, Juan A. (Shirley) Mousset of Greensboro, NC; Grandchildren, Angelica and Jonathan Mousset, Veronica Romeo, and Ariel and Alexandra LeMerle; Sisters, Beatrice (Dante) Cataldo of Verona, NJ, Maria O'Donoghue of Freehold, NJ, and Carmen Sepulveda of San Juan Puerto Rico; a Brother, Freddy (Elisa) Estrada of Yonkers, NY, and a host of other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mass will be 12 Noon Saturday, June 11, 2016 at St. Joachim and Ann Catholic Church, 4112 McClay Road, St. Charles 63304 with Fr. Robert Suit officiating. Visitation will be Friday June 10, 2016 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters MO 63376. Interment will be private.
Memorials in Ms. Chaves name may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Memphis TN.
Priscilla also wanted everyone to wear white or light colored clothing to her funeral.
