Ralph Wilford Caldwell, age 83, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 10, 2021.
He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on June 27, 1938 to Ralph and Louise Caldwell (nee Trueb). "Rotten" Ralph was an avid golfer, bowler, reader, and pool shark. His hobby was making golf clubs. He was a social butterfly that didn't know a stranger and was always ready to tell a joke. He worked for the United States Postal Service for 35 years until his retirement. He was married to Joan Caldwell for 47 years. He cherished the family he and Joan shared.
Ralph is survived by his three sons, John (Debbie)Caldwell, Bob Caldwell, and William (Kristen) Caldwell. Granddaughters, Betheny (Josh) Brunkhorst, Alexis Caldwell, Sarah (Chris) Arnold, Katie Bourgeret-Caldwell, Gillian Caldwell, and Evelyn Caldwell. Grandsons, Gabe Caldwell and Caleb Caldwell. Great-granddaughters, Reagan, Emma, and Ada Brunkhorst and Loralie Arnold. Great-grandson, Mykel Arnold. Sister-in-law Mary Holloman. Niece, Chris (Bob) Mochel. Nephew, Danny Atzert. He will be dearly missed by many friends and additional family.
Ralph is preceded in death by his Father, Ralph Wilford Caldwell, Sr.; Mother, Louise E. Caldwell; Wife, Joan Evelyn Caldwell; and Sister, Jeannette (Joe) Atzert.
Visitation and sharing of memories will be held from 4pm until 8pm on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations and Funerals in St. Peters.
