Randy Schott

Randy L. Schott passed away Thursday, January 2nd, 2025, in St. Peters, Missouri. Randy was born November 20th, 1956 to Rudolph Schott and Ida Schott. 

He leaves behind his wife Janet Schott, a brother Stanley Schott, his children Chris Schott and Tracy Reed, and his Grandson Eli Schott.

 Growing up in Perryville Missouri, Randy loved spending time with family and friends. In stories to his family, he talked about countless hours of squirrel hunting and creek exploring. In high school, Randy loved his hands-on classes which he said helped him with his future at-home gunsmith career. After graduating class of 1975 he meets his wife Jan where they have 2 kids together. He then joined the Perryville police department in 1978. In 1988, he moved to the St. Paul area where he became a security guard for GM, then Boeing. While being a security guard he and his brother Stanley went into business together buying a few dump trucks and a convenience store on Highway P. In 1993, he stopped being a security guard and took the store and dump trucking to full potential. After 28 years of his own companies, he enjoyed his retirement with family, hunting, and fishing.
