Raymond Dennis Brickner

Raymond "Dennis" Brickner passed away peacefully on March 12, 2023, at age 81 in O'Fallon, MO.
Born in Pittsburgh, PA, to Raymond J. Brickner and Dorothy A. Brickner (nee Downey), Dennis graduated from Aliquippa High School and worked several years for Homestead Industries. In 1979 Dennis moved to Holiday Shores in Edwardsville, IL. After traveling extensively as an Instrument Tech for Air Products & Chemicals, Dennis partnered with wife Melba to co-own Cave Springs Travel and establish the Race Adventures division. He later proudly drove for Valenti's Market & Catering in St. Peters, MO.
Dennis will be fondly remembered for his love of Steelers football, Nascar racing and wine tasting. He will be truly missed by his family, many friends and especially his two Boston Terriers, Butch and Destiny.
Dennis was predeceased by his parents Raymond and Dorothy Brickner and his dear sister Barb Pierre. He is survived by his beloved wife Melba Brickner (nee O'Connell) of 27 years and former wife Sylvia "Jeanie" Votruba (nee Weigel); devoted children Dee (Barry) Dauber and Rob (Michelle) Brickner; and cherished grandchildren Kim, Angie, Dan (Cheyenne), Tyler and Katrina.
Family and friends will gather on
Saturday, April 1, 2023, at 10:00 am preceding memorial service at 11:00 am with visitation to continue from 11:30 am-2:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376.
