Raymond Clyde Campbell, age 61, of Dardenne Prairie, Missouri passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021. He was born in Saint Charles, Missouri on July 7, 1959 to Clyde and Orean Campbell (nee Dunlap).
Raymond was a hard worker, a great cook, a protective father, a wonderful grandfather, and a loving and supportive husband. He always took care of his family and worked whichever job he needed to do so. Whenever the holidays came around he was always cooking something up; a turkey, ham, stuffing, banana pudding, cheesecake or grilling up burgers and hot dogs and cranking out homemade ice cream. He loved spending time with his grandson Chase and hearing stories about new antics or how fast Chase is growing. Raymond adored his wife of 40 years Rose, who passed in 2018. He also loved motorcycles, especially Harleys. He may have been stubborn and hard headed, but if you asked for help with something he was always there to lend a hand.
Raymond is survived by his daughters, Tami D. (Johnathan) Wilson, and Robin L. Campbell; and his grandson, Chase M. Wilson. He will be greatly missed by many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Ann Campbell; and his parents, Clyde O. and Orean V. Campbell.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Monday, January 11, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Family Church of Lake St Louis, 1586 Duello Rd, Lake Saint Louis, MO 63367. Interment will be private.
