Raymond Norris Jr.

Raymond H. Norris Jr., age 73, of O Fallon, Missouri passed away on Monday, April 5, 2021. He was born in Mexico, Missouri on March 24, 1948 to Raymond and Geneva Norris (nee Morris).
Ray graduated from Northeast Missouri State University(Truman University) in 1970. He co-owned a Nursery in Wellsville Missouri, then worked for Forrest Keeling Nursery in Elsberry Missouri before moving to the Chicago area to accept a position as Nursery and Garden Center Manager for Bruss Nursery in Lombard Illinois.
Ray worked as a Salesman in the Lawn and Garden Division for Voluntary Purchasing Groups out of Bonham Texas from
1981 to 2004. Ray then worked for Lawn and Garden Distributor George Keller & Sons in Quincy Illinois as a Salesman from 2005 until he retired in 2013.
After retirement, Ray enjoyed spending time with his friends, collecting Cardinals Baseball memorabilia, coins, stamps, and going to sports memorabilia shows, coin shows, and swap meets. He also enjoyed helping with the food pantry, and ushering at his church. At home, Ray enjoyed bird watching and gardening.
Ray is survived by his son, Dennis Norris. He will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond H. Norris, Sr.; his mother, Geneva Norris; and his sister, Cordy Ann Kleinsorge.
A Memorial Service for Ray will be held at Grace Doctrine Church- 1821 S. River Rd. St. Charles, MO. 63303 on Friday, June 18th at 5:00 PM. All are invited to stay afterwards for dinner in the church cafeteria.
