Raymond Alan Yarck

April 4, 1942 — February 23, 2025

Lake St. Louis, Missouri

Raymond Alan Yarck, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2025, at his home in O'Fallon, Missouri, surrounded by his loving family. Born on April 4, 1942, in Hammond, Indiana, Raymond's journey through life was marked by love, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to his family and career.

Raymond devoted over 30 years of his professional life to esteemed companies such as McDonnell, McDonnell-Douglas, and Boeing, where he served as Director of Contracts and Estimating. His career was built upon a foundation of hard work and integrity, values he upheld in every facet of his life. Raymond's educational achievements were impressive; he graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Indiana University and furthered his education with a Master's Degree in Business Administration from St. Louis University, accomplishments of which he was immensely proud.

Above all, Raymond cherished his family. He often reminisced about the joyful gatherings during Family Reunions, where laughter and warmth filled the air, and he treasured the moments spent on memorable trips to Hawaii and Alaska. His loving wife of 62 years, Diana Yarck, stood by him through thick and thin, creating a partnership steeped in mutual respect and affection. His beloved sons, Shawn (Julie) Yarck and Stephen (Dan) Yarck, were sources of immense pride for Raymond, who always celebrated their accomplishments.

Raymond derived boundless joy from his role as a grandfather to Kelly Edwards and Ryan Yarck, and later embraced the new title of great-grandfather when Mason Yarck and Braelynn Edwards came into this world. He shared his love for the outdoors with his family, often engaging in his favorite pastimes of golfing and fishing, which fostered connections and created lasting memories.

The bonds of brotherhood were equally important to Raymond, who is remembered fondly by his brothers, Larry Yarck and Dan Yarck. His son-in-law, Ken Pschierer, and cousin, Rick Fleck, were also integral parts of his life, each connection contributing to the tapestry of love that surrounded him.

Raymond was preceded in death by his devoted parents, Frank and Charlotte Yarck, and his beloved daughter, Tammara Pschierer. Their absence is profoundly felt, yet their memories continue to inspire the family he so dearly loved.

As we remember Raymond, we reflect on a life lived with honesty, hard work, and devotion to family, which remains his proudest accomplishment. He leaves behind an enduring legacy of love that will continue to flourish through the generations. Raymond Alan Yarck may have departed from this world, but his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who cherished him.
