Regina Kay Cooley, age 57, of O'Fallon, Missouri passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2017 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Athens, Alabama on April 7, 1960. She was a Line Worker for 20+ years at the Chrysler Auto Plant (Huntsville AL / St Louis MO), and also a manager at Wentzville Schnuck's. Regina was a very loyal and devoted Alabama Football fan, and also enjoyed cooking, entertaining, flowers, decorating and traveling. She married David Cooley on February 14, 1998 in Gatlinburg, TN.
Regina's journey included a 12 year battle of breast cancer. The last 2 years she became a huge advocate for Metavivor and Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer. In which she counseled others fighting the disease along with educating women on the terminal illness.
Survivors include her Husband, David of O'Fallon, MO; her Mother Shirley Marshall Thompson of Huntsville, AL; Father, Kenneth Six of Pine Bank, PA; a Son, Zachary Lynn (Ashley) Beegle of Meridianville, AL, Step-Son, Kevin Tod Cooley of Birmingham, AL; a Brother, Benny Austin Thompson of Hazel Green, AL; two Grandsons, Robert Wallace Sears and Landon Everett Hudson, and a Nephew, Brandon Austin Thompson.
A Memorial Service will begin at 5:00 pm Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376 followed by gathering to Celebrate Regina's life until 8:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials the family request donations to be made in Regina's honor to Metavivor.
