Rello "Cris" Cristea

Rello "Cris" Lawrence Cristea, age 80, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 in Saint Peters, Missouri. He was born in Gary, Indiana on February 6, 1944 to Rello and Margaret Cristea (nee Massa).

Cris loved theater, traveling with his wife, music (mostly Motown) and playing golf with friends and family. However, his true passion was time spent with his family; attending all the sports, scholastic, and theater events of his kids, the grandkids and welcoming the next batch of great grandkids. He was so excited to see his children grow and excel, start their own families and watch them achieve greatness. He was a proud Dad, proud Papa, and proud Poppy. He was devoted to his wife, and no husband could ever love their wife more than he loved his precious Sandy Liz.

Cris is survived by his Wife, Sandy Cristea; Two Sons, Sean A. Cristea, Cristopher M. (Christina) Cristea; Seven grandchildren, Justin A. Cristea, Sean M Cristea, Brianna R. (Mitchell) Campbell, Alexandre M. (Brenna) Cristea, Andrew C. Cristea, Aidan J. Cristea, Abigail E. Cristea; Seven great-grandchildren, Isaac Cristea, Sarai Cristea, Jensen Cristea, Nora Campbell, Caius Campbell, Noah Cristea, Asher Cristea; and a host of other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Rello Cristea; Mother, Margaret Cristea.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Immanuel Lutheran St. Charles on Saturday, May 11, 2024 from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm.
