Renato (Renie) Lenardon

Renato Lenardon, 94, passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 18, 2018 at his apartment in St. Charles, Missouri. Renie was born in San Martino, Italy and came to America in 1935. After brief service in the Army, he married Rita Catherine DeiTos in 1950 and they enjoyed 64 years of marriage together until Rita passed away in 2014. He was a faithful, loving husband and father who loved to tinker and could fix just about anything. Renie was a Layout Inspector at Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, Michigan, and retired after 37 years to enjoy an active life split between Westland, Michigan and Tucson, Arizona. In Arizona, you would often find him out on the Bocce ball courts teaching new players. After Rita's passing, he moved to a senior living facility in St. Charles, MO. Renie is survived by his children Dan Lenardon, Sandi Mooney (Tom), and Gail Start (Bill); his grandchildren Martin Lenardon (Catalina), Patrick Mooney, John Mooney, Kaitlin Ross (Thomas), Gerrit Start (Danielle), and Peter Start; and great-grandchildren Daisy Ross, and Hazel Start.
