Rich Chapman

Rich Chapman, age 83, of Foristell, Missouri passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on January 4, 1940 to Richard and Ruby Chapman (née Brashear).


Rich was a loving, generous, hard working man who went to First Baptist Church of Lake St. Louis. He loved to laugh, tell stories, and have a good time with friends. Recreationally, he played church league softball, water skied, bowled and played cards weekly. He had a beautiful singing voice and enjoyed playing guitar and piano. He owned and operated Richard Chapman Brick Contracting, Inc. for more than 40 years and continued to invest in real estate with his son after retirement. He also enjoyed relaxing with his beloved dog, Sammie.


Rich is a Born-Again Christian in the Body of Christ. Devoted to his Christian walk with the Lord, he studied his Bible and created a music ministry that served two local nursing homes.


Rich is survived by two children: Corinne McRee of Fort Worth, TX and Rich Chapman of St. Peters, MO. He is also survived by his first wife, Julie Kocs (née Fite); 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by daughter Jill Hoffman and parents, Richard and Ruby Chapman.
