Richard Boyd Pointer

Richard Boyd Pointer died suddenly on September 21, 2016 at the age of 72.
Rich is survived by his wife, Terri (nee Burke) Pointer; 4 children Amy (Janna Lamberson) Pointer, Collette Crowe, Wendi (Pat Bateman) Comello and Rick (Kimberly Vermillion) Comello; 3 grandchildren Cheyenne Kumm, Morgan Pointer and MaKenna Pointer; 1 sister Connie Ratliff; Uncle, Cousin and friend to many. Also surviving are his very sad cats Mo, Patches and Abraham.
A Vietnam Veteran, Rich proudly served in the United States Marines. An avid St. Louis Cardinals Baseball Fan, Rich really enjoyed food.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 27th at 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive Saint Peters, Missouri 63376. The interment with full military honors will follow in National Cemetery Jefferson Barracks. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 27th from 10:00 am until 1:00 p.m.
