Richard Dean Brown, age 73, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2022 in Saint Peters, Missouri. He was born in St. Charles , Missouri on November 13, 1949 to Earl and Cecelia Brown (nee Kerns).
Richard married Minniesue Josephine Vincent on May 23, 1968 in St. Charles, Missouri. They shared 54 happy years in marriage together.
Richard had been a landscaper for over 25 years and then went on to McDonalds as a Custodian, Walmart as a stocker, and a custodian for the O'Fallon Church of Christ. He loved the Cardinals, basketball, and football. He coached his son's little league baseball team.
Richard lived his life to the fullest and he was a devoted family man. He never missed one of his son's soccer games, his daughter's dance recitals, and his grand-daughter's color guard competitions. He and Minniesue were foster parents for about 5 years and had 23 children, ages 1 to 16 years old. He showed his love for others in everything he did.
Richard is survived by his wife, Minniesue Vincent Brown, daughter, Deana (Dan) Kennedy; son, Richard D. Brown, Jr.; two granddaughters, Kristen Brown (Dylan) Flood, Amber Obrecht (Joshua) Sinkler; two grandsons, Alan T. Obrecht, Jr., Gavin A. Kennedy; two great-grandsons, Lucas R. Flood, Gabriel M. Sinkler; two great-granddaughters, Ayla S. R. Flood, Elora R. Flood; and a host of other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Earl V. Brown, Sr.; mother, Cecelia A. Brown; sister, Mary Brussel; 2 brothers, Charles Brown and Earl Brown Jr.
