Richard E. Lofftus, Sr.
March 18, 1944 — July 7, 2016
Richard E. Lofftus, Sr., age 72, of St. Peters, Missouri, formerly of Springfield, Missouri, passed away Thursday July 7, 2016 in St. Louis County.
Richard was a loving husband to Pat Lofftus and brother to Don "ED" Lofftus (wife Earlene) and Nancy Jorgensen (husband Hoagy). He was father to Mike Lofftus and Rich Lofftus (wife Kellee), and was preceded in death by his daughter Becki Robinson (husband Dean). He also had four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Richard's family meant a great deal to him.
Richard was an award winning bass fisherman and an avid water skier. He enjoyed spending many happy hours camping and boating at Table Rock Lake.
The family will receive friends for a gathering Saturday July 16, 2016 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri, to celebrate Richard's life.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to All Paws Rescue, PO Box 1274, O'Fallon, MO 63366.
