Richard G Flood

Richard G Flood, age 86, of St Peters, MO, passed away November 5, 2018. He was born February 6, 1932 in St Louis, MO, the son of Robert and Helen Flood.
Richard was a kind hearted, loving soul. He loved spending time: fishing, traveling, and working on any type of side projects he could find, but most importantly he loved spending time with his family and friends.
Richard was Honorably Discharged after serving his country for many years in the United States Air Force. He then started his own HVAC business that he ran for some years. Later he worked for and retired from McDonnell Douglass.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Flood and Helen (Thompson) Flood and his son Dennis Flood. Richard leaves behind a daughter Jennifer Amlong and her husband Tim, a son Michael Flood and his wife Leighann, grandchildren: Jessica Moore and her husband Justin, Jordan Amlong, Taylor Amlong, Payton Amlong, Matt Flood and his wife Michelle, as well as four great grandchildren and many other family members and friends. He was a truly inspirational man who will be deeply missed by all.
Visitation will be Monday, November 12, 2018 from 5:00 PM ~ 6:00 PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions 837 Mid Rivers Mall Dr St Peters, MO. A Memorial service will start at 6:00 PM.
