Richard Ralph Hesskamp

Richard Ralph Hesskamp, born on August 23, 1938, departed this life on April 10, 2025. Richard was a beloved husband, father, and friend whose passions and warm spirit touched the lives of many.

Richard is survived by his wife, Jenny Hesskamp; his son, Bryan (Becky) Hesskamp; his daughter, Michelle Wise; and three step-sons, Gary Lee Gallatin, Douglas Dean Gallatin, and Tim Donald Gallatin. He is also survived by two sisters, Margaret (Robert) Emert and Mary Shoults, along with a host of other family members and friends who will remember him fondly.

Throughout his life, Richard developed a love for activities that brought him joy and excitement. He was an avid watcher of Nascar, often finding thrill in the speed and adrenaline of the races. His passion for boating allowed him to connect with nature and create cherished memories with loved ones.

Richard's passing is preceded by the loss of several family members who deeply shaped his life. He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Hesskamp; his mother, Verna M. Birk; his daughter, Nicole Ryan; and his brother-in-law, Norman Shoults.
