Richard Stacey Krause, 65, of Saint Peters, passed away on February 6, 2016 at BJC Hospital. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 11, 2016, from 6:00 pm. to 8:00 pm. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, MO 63376 (636-875-1200).
Private funeral services will be held with interment following in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO. Memorials are suggested to the National League of POW/MIA Families, Wounded Warriors Project. The son of George and Gloria (Hughes) Krause, he was born July 23, 1950
Richard was a 42 year employee of the United States Postal Service. He loved the outdoors especially camping, fishing and hiking. He doted on his five daughters and put up with the strange animals they adopted.
On March 16, 1984 he married Pamela Krause, Pamela and Richard lived in Saint Peters, Missouri.
Richard is survived by his loving Wife, Pamela, his Five Daughters, Christine (Donald) Probst of St. Peters, MO, Jennifer (Joshua) Reitan of Minneapolis, MN, Sherry Krause of St. Peters, MO, , Kathryn (Robert) Dailey of Salem, IL and Megan Krause of Tullahoma, TN; nine grandchildren; Sister, Kerry (Bruce) Kemnitz of Hartford, WI; and Two Brothers, Charles (Cindy) Krause of Raleigh, NC, and William (Lynn) Krause of Raleigh, NC.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Edward Krause and James Krause.
