Richard "Dick" Mcdonald

Richard "Dick" McDonald, Sr., age 81, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2021. He was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on January 6, 1940 to Richard and Unetta McDonald (nee Mees).

Richard had a large family who he loved deeply. He had many children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Richard was a member of the St Charles Elks Lodge and the Knights of Columbus. He loved life and the time he had to spend with his family. He will be dearly missed by many.

Richard is survived by his children, James A. (Patricia) McDonald, Richard C. McDonald, Jr., Lisa M. (Frank) Harris, Kenneth (Kimberly) McDonald, and Bryan M. (Aaron) McDonald; his grandchildren, Eva "Tasha" (Chris) Schmidt, Kristen McDonald, Natalie (Zachary) Morris, Jessica McDonald, Katie (Jonathan) Hansen, Kirsten (Barry) Rowe, Samuel McDonald, Daniel McDonald, Crystal (Greg) Barns, Sasha McDonald, Angela (Jason) Mayer, Robert (Danielle) McDonald, Brandon (Mandy) Harris, Shelby (Kristen) Harris, Ian McDonald, Cameron McDonald, Madelyn McDonald, Meaghyn McDonald, Quentyn McDonald, Michael Ray, Kayla Ray and Damien Pruett; his many great-grandchildren; his sister, Ruby K. McDonald; and his niece, Theresa L. McDonald. He will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta McDonald; his father, Richard M. McDonald; his mother, Unetta M. McDonald; his children, Robert M. McDonald, Erin Miller, Amy E. McDonald and Mary L. McDonald.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday, May 28, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, St Peters Chapel, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Newcomer. Interment will follow at St Mary Cemetery in Bridgeton.

Memorial contributions may be made out to James McDonald, son, to help with final expenses.
