Richard Anthony Volante, III, 38, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022. Richard was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on February 12, 1984 to mother, Miriam Simonsen (nee Cox) and late father, Richard Anthony Volante, Jr.
Richard was a good man with a big heart, especially for the elderly and his pets. He loved his country, heritage, God, family, friends and animals. His heart was kind, and he would always go above and beyond to help in any way he could. Richard worked on the river and enjoyed the peace and beauty of the natural world around him. He took amazing pictures of things he enjoyed most, including sunrises and sunsets, animals, nature, his family and his pets.
He is survived by his mother, Miriam (Kris) Simonsen; brother, Kevin Olivier; sister, Truly (Corey) Volante-Craig; nephew, Parker Craig; two beloved cats, Seaweed and Kitler; and multiple, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Richard is preceded in death by his father, Richard Anthony Volante, Jr.
Services will be held on Friday, September 2, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions at 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive in St. Peters, Missouri. The funeral service will begin at 4:00pm and the visitation will follow until 7:00pm.
