Rick Browning

Rick Browning, born on September 27, 1974, was a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend who departed this life on March 21, 2025. He leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of joy and passion for life's simple pleasures.

Rick was a man of diverse interests; he found great joy in the tranquility of nature, often indulging in fishing, camping, and mushroom hunting. Whether by a serene river or a babbling creek, he cherished the peaceful moments spent outdoors. His retreat into nature was often accompanied by the resonant crackle of bonfires and the rich aromas of BBQ, shared with loved ones under the open sky. He loved taking lots of family vacations in the country.

A devoted father, Rick relished spending quality time with his son Colt, especially during their friendly chess matches, which brought them closer together. His enthusiasm for the game reflected his strategic mind, revealing a playful spirit that made every match memorable. Rick was also an avid fan of the Indianapolis Colts, proudly cheering for his team and sharing in the camaraderie of fellow fans.

Rick is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia Browning; his son, Colt Browning; his best friend, Zeus Browning; his mother, Gloria Browning; his sister, Sherri (Lou) Molnar; and a host of other family members and friends who will continue to remember him fondly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Arlen Browning, and his sister, Carmen Browning, both of whom he held dear in his heart.

In remembering Rick, we celebrate a life filled with laughter, warmth, and adventure. His joyful spirit and love for family will forever resonate in the lives he touched, creating a lasting impact on all who were fortunate enough to know him.
