Rita J. Albers, age 73, of Hazelwood, Missouri passed away on Friday, June 28, 2024. She was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on July 10, 1950 to Loyd and Dorothy Stevenson (nee Benne).

Rita is survived by her sons, John (Deborah) Brown Jr, Paul (Michelle) Brown, and Michael (Amy) Brown; her grandchildren, Jessica (Michael) Redman, Justin (Megan) Brown, Taylor (William) Springer, Danielle (Mark) Berra, Mackenzie Brown, Matthew Brown, Braydan Brown, Kinley Brown, and Ashton Brown; her great-grandchildren, Zane Redman, Bennett Redman, Hayes Redman, Liam Springer, Noah Springer, and Maisyn Berra; her mother Dorothy Stevenson; her brothers, Rick (Kathy) Stevenson, and Art (Angie) Stevenson; her sisters, Sharon (Doug) Pummill, Pat Yore, Nancy (Chuck) Ashley, and Carol (Tony) Funderburg. She will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Albers; and her father, Loyd Stevenson; and her brother-in-law, Bill Yore.
