Robert P. Blevins, age 72, of Jonesburg, Missouri passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2020. He was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on April 2, 1947 to Marin and Nancy Blevins (nee Scherffius).
Robert was married to Denise for 47 years. He enjoyed to teach his sons, granddaughters, nieces and nephews how to do many things. He taught them everything about fishing, trapping, hunting, shooting, and many life lessons. Robert was a very caring person. He would always find a way to brighten someone's day.
Robert is survived by his wife, Denise K. Blevins, Sons, Eric C. (Tracy Wilson) Blevins, and Matthew A. Blevins; Granddaughters, Vanessa E. Blevins, Isabella D. Blevins, Molly L. Blevins, Eliza M. Blevins, and Madeline M. Blevins; Brothers, Marin J. (Donna) Blevins, Jr., and Terry D. (Debbie) Blevins. He will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marin Jonathon Blevins, Sr., and Nancy Aileen Blevins; Daughter-In-Law, Lisa M. Blevins; and Sister, Linda M. Justus.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376 (636-875-1200). A funeral ceremony will be take place at 10:30 am on Friday, January 31, 2020. Interment will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in Saint Louis, MO.
