Robert "Bob" Bertholomey

Robert "Bob" Lee Bertholomey, age 86, of Saint Peters, Missouri passed away on Monday, April 3, 2023 in Saint Peters, Missouri. He was born in Matthews, Missouri on June 6, 1936 to Joseph and Janie Bertholomey (nee Swims).

Bob served as a Deacon for over 55 years as well as dedicating 37 years of his life to McDonnell Douglas Air Craft. He enjoyed spending his time hunting, fishing, and most importantly, spending time with his family. He spent an amazing 65 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Dorothy.

Robert is survived by his wife, Dorothy Bertholomey; son, Terry (Lisa) Bertholomey; daughter, Lisa (Mark) Hicks; six grandchildren, Casey (Chris) Miller, Christopher (Amanda) Bertholomey, Taylor (Josh) Groom, Steve (Stephanie) Hicks, Lindsey (Brett) Bailie, Emily (Dakota) Horton; 10 great-grandchildren, Kylie Lanzone, Chase Miller, Carter Miller, Cayden Miller, Henry Bertholomey, Willow Bertholomey, Laney Groom, Callie Groom, Lincoln Horton, Luke Hicks; two sister-in-laws, Bonnie Fairless and Betty Butler; numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Bertholomey; mother, Janie Mae Bertholomey; and seven sisters.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, April 07, 2023. Funeral Ceremony will be 10:30 am Saturday, April 8, 2023 at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376 with Ken Long officiating.
