Robert J. Dorenkamp of Saint Peters, Missouri passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2019. He was born in Jefferson City, Missouri on January 18, 1941 to the late Benard and Cecelia Dorenkamp (nee: Dressel).
Robert was a man of principle and was faithful to his family and God. Robert was an Army veteran, retired brewer at Anheuser Busch, volunteer fireman, member of the Knights of Columbus, and a coach to many. He loved spending time with his family and friends, tinkering in his work shop, camping and fishing. He had many memorable life stories and will be deeply missed by all.
Robert was the beloved husband of Margaret Dorenkamp (Noonan). Dearest father of Theresa (Rob) Walker, Tina (Mark) Gettings, Joe (Kim) Dorenkamp, Patty (Jeff) Futhey, Tom (Laura) Dorenkamp, and John Dorenkamp. Loving grandpa of Becky (Todd) Morrow, Jake Walker, Addie Gettings, Ellie Gettings, Kaitlyn Dorenkamp, Kylie Dorenkamp, Raechell Futhey, Emily Futhey, Boyce Futhey, Margaret Futhey, Nicholas Dorenkamp, Sarah Dorenkamp, Tony Parato, and Abigail Dorenkamp. Loving great grandpa to Mason, Mikaylah, and Max Morrow. Brother of Ted (Claire), Gene (Joyce), Dan (Cathy), and Cissie Dorenkamp. Sister-In-Law Joan Dorenkamp.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Benard and Cecelia Dorenkamp, and Brother, George Dorenkamp.
There will be a visitation held for Robert on Friday, January 25, 2019 at 9:30 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cottleville, MO.
Memorial mass will be held at 10:00 am with a Celebration of life luncheon to immediately follow at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cottleville, MO.
