Robert Eugene Gower

Robert Eugene Gower, 86, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2018. He was born on March 27, 1931, in Quincy, IL to Mildred and Edward Gower. While attending Notre Dame High School, he met his wife Marian. Both of them were members of the Notre Dame Band. Bob married Marian Malinda Wismann on December 27, 1951. Bob and Marian moved to Ferguson, MO after graduating from Quincy College. In 1993 Bob retired from McDonnell-Douglas and moved to Seneca, SC. Bob and Marian returned to the St. Louis area in 2016. Bob's hobbies included fishing, hunting, and playing cards.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Mildred Gower, brother Donald Gower. Bob is survived by his wife Marian, brother Edward (Elaina) Gower; children Patrick (Kathy) Gower, Nancy Barbarito, Deborah (Jim) Light, Marcia Gower, Jeanne (Pete) Amsden, and Robert (Peggy) Gower; 12 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.

He will be greatly missed by his wife, family and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Immaculate Conception of Dardenne Prairie, MO. Visitation will begin one hour before the mass.
