Robert Kozemczak age 71, of St. Peters, Missouri passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on March 10, 2018 at BJC St. Peters. Bob was born on May 31, 1946 in St. Louis, Missouri. He was the son of John and Dorothy (Vernon) Kozemczak. In 1973 at the First Church of God of De Soto, Missouri, Bob married the love of his life, Glenice Pierce.
Bob was as a hard worker and wonderful provider for his family. He retired from American Airlines after 45 years of service working on the terminal tarmacs receiving and preparing the aircraft for flight. He was also a member of the Airlines Union.
Throughout his life, Bob enjoyed his music, especially that of the great musical legends such as Led Zeppelin, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Pink Floyd, The Doors and Fleetwood Mac just to name a few. Bob was an avid collector of original vinyl records, baseball cards and enjoyed playing video games. During the warm Missouri months of summer Bob was known for his great Bar-B-Que and enjoying a cold beer with his family and friends. But there was no greater joy for Bob than his wonderful wife Glenice and his family.
Along with his loving wife, Glenice, and mother Dorothy, Bob is survived by his three Daughters, Angela (Matthew) Orf, Theresa Kozemczak, Jaime (Keith Schmidt) Kozemczak; two sisters, Renee Kozemczak, Kathleen (Lenny) Canter; three brothers, John (Carolyn) Kozemczak, II, Timothy (Julie) Kozemczak, Daniel (Debbie) Kozemczak; seven grandchildren, Ashley Orf, Heather Richardet, Shelby Orf, Allen Burcham, Dennis Orf, Sarah Schmidt, Vance Schmidt; one great-grandson, Vincent Meyer and his brother-In-Law, Ron Weber.
Bob was preceded in death by his father John Kozemczak; sister, Christine Weber and brother, Michael Kozemczak.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 14, 2018, from 3:00 to 6:30 pm. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters. Funeral services will be held immediately after the visitation at 6:30 pm. Service will be officiated by Deacon Peter Gounis. Cremation will follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family is suggesting that memorials may be made in Bob's name to the American Cancer Society.
