Robert I. Lotshaw of O'Fallon, Missouri, a wonderful and caring brother, uncle and great-uncle, died suddenly at Mercy Hospital St. Louis, on June 10, 2024 at the age of 82.
Born to Claude Irwin and Elizabeth 'Bessie' Lotshaw(nee Copp) on May 12, 1942 in East St. Louis, Illinois and was survived by his sister, Wanda Arnold of Hickory, North Carolina and brother, John Lotshaw of O'Fallon, Missouri.
Robert served in the Air Force from 1964 to 1968 of which he spent 2 years in the Vietnam War. Although Robert's career took him down many paths, he finished as a Computer Tech Specialist whose main client was the United States Government. Robert retired in 2009 and moved back to St Louis Area to be with his loving family.
A celebration of his life is scheduled for late June 2024 at the VFW Post in Caseyville, Illinois. His ashes will be included in a 'burial ball' and placed as part of a Coral Reef Project rebuilding our costal eco-system. He will be laid to rest with full Military Honors in a private ceremony in Sarasota, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, Robert requested donations be made to your favorite charity for the benefits of the environment.
