Robert Warren Oellermann Sr., age 83, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Friday, October 28, 2022 in Saint Peters, Missouri. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on January 8, 1939 to Charles and Wareka Oellermann (nee Lutrell).
Bob was born in Wellston and was a proud "Wellstonian" and loved attending every high school reunion he could. After graduating he was drafted into the Army where he served for two years in Germany.
Upon his return, he got married and worked until he and his brother Ronnie purchased a small grocery store in Kirkwood called Triple D Market. A few years later they purchased a second market in Overland and named it Oellermann's Market. Over the next years he had three children, two sons and a daughter.
"The Store", as they called it, was run by the two brothers until Ronnie passed away. Then Bob brought his two sons Rob and David into the family business where they all worked together for many years. The store remains a staple in the Overland community and holds fond memories for many people who have been customers for years.
In his later years Bob delighted in being a Grandpa to his 8 grandchildren and most recently was thrilled to become a great grandpa! He loved spending time with his family.
Robert is survived by his Son, Robert Warren (Christy) Oellermann Jr. of Saint Charles, MO; Daughter, Heather D. (Toby) Ward of Stafford, VA; Six Granddaughters, Haley (Brice) Wiggs, Kirstie Oellermann, Gabby (Elliot) Rigsby, Maddie Oellermann, Mia Oellermann, Ella Ward; Two Grandsons, Pearson Ward, Graham Ward; Great-Grandson, Maverick Rigsby; Sister, Arlene Pirrone; and a host of other family members and friends.
