Robert Charles Pusey
May 27, 1925 — August 19, 2017
Robert "Bob" Charles Pusey, 92, of St. Peters, Missouri, passed away peacefully in his sleep surrounded by family, on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Evelyn's House in Creve Coeur, MO. Born in East St. Louis, IL to Frank and Virginia Pusey. He lived his final years in St. Charles, Missouri.
After retiring Bob spent time gardening, woodworking and fishing. He loved the outdoors and was a big Cardinals fan and he never missed a game.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years Mattie Pusey, parents Frank and Virginia Pusey, brother William Pusey and two sisters Doris Huber and Virginia Martiszus.
Bob was extremely proud of his family and is survived by, one daughter Doris Altmansberger of St. Peters, two grandchildren Kimberly (Jeremy) Altmansberger-Pugh of St. Peters, MO and Robert (Karen) Altmansberger of St. Charles, MO, three great grandchildren, Madison Altmansberger, Johnathan Altmansberger, and Amie Pleasant, sister-in-law Virginia Pusey, a dear cousin Roger (Betty) Houk of O'Fallon, MO and a host of other family and friends.
Memorial Service will be 7:00 PM, Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home 837 Mid Rivers Mall Dr. St. Peters, MO 63376. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM -7:00PM at Newcomer Funeral Home. Interment will be Friday, August 25, 2017, 11:00AM at Valhalla Cemetery in Belleville, IL.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in honor of Bob to the Evelyn's House on the campus of Barnes Jewish West County Hospital 1000 N. Mason Road St. Louis, MO 63141 or online at www.bjchospice.org.
