Robert "Marty" Ruebel, age 50, of Saint Ann, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2020. He was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on February 26, 1969 to Arthur and Jean Ruebel (nee Dukeman).
Marty Ruebel was the man of all men. An absolute devoted husband whose humor and sensitivity carried him (the MR) and Karen through 28 years together. Marty was a loving and caring father. His caring nature, kind heart and willingness to always help those in need made him the man that everyone in his life loved and appreciated. A fan of the outdoors, Marty was considered THE GRILL MASTER by those who have enjoyed his grilling technics as well as those who only saw the pictures Marty would send them. A tinkerer of all trades, Marty found his calling in the landscaping world and with his perfectionism and dedication he became a top class landscaper working the last 10 years with Lawn Systems Inc., a company that treated Marty and Karen as their own family.
Marty is survived by his wife, Karen (nee Zykan) Ruebel; his daughters, Crystal (Ben) Ruebel, and Rachel (Paul) Ruebel; his siblings, Rickey Ruebel, Debbie (Bill) Muehlhausen, Art (Kathy) Ruebel, Larry (Brandy) Ruebel, Jimmy Ruebel, Diane (Larry) Littlefield, and Missy (Paul) Craig; his Mother-In-Law, Mary Zykan; Brothers-In-Law, Robert (Dawn) Zykan and Steven (Valarie) Zykan. Along with his many nieces and nephews, Marty will be dearly missed by countless other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Ruebel; his mother, Jean Ruebel; his father-in-law, Robert Zykan; his brother-in-law, Ronnie Zykan; and his best friend Greg Mason.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday, February 14, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376 (636-875-1200). A second visitation will take place from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish Church, 3500 St Luke Ln, St Ann, MO 63074. Mass will be 11:00 am Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish Church. Interment will immediately follow the mass at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, 11101 St Charles Rock Rd, St Ann, MO 63074.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Marty's name to the American Cancer Society, 4215 Lindell Blvd. Saint Louis, MO 63108.
