Robert K. Sheldon

Bob Sheldon, age 91, of O'Fallon, Missouri passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021 at home, surrounded by his family. He was born in Jennings, Missouri on August 30, 1930 to James and Jesse Sheldon (nee Moore).

Bob is survived by his wife of 70 years Janet Sheldon (nee Obermoeller); children, Janice (Ralph) Ulmer and Robby Sheldon; grandchildren Jill (Cass) Shinn, Bradley (Christy) Echols, Chelsea (Tommy) Egan, Ryan (Samantha) Sheldon, Anthony Springer, Lauren Sheldon, Dylan Sheldon, Jesse Sheldon, and Jake Ulmer; great-grandchildren Jake (Jessica) Tamm, Owen Tamm, Collin Tamm, Logan (Macey) Shinn, Levi (Kylie) Shinn, Haley Shinn, Broque Echols, Avery Egan, Audrey Egan, Carter Sheldon, Conner Sheldon, Charlie Sheldon, Rhett Springer, Benjamin Sheldon, and Stella Sheldon; and great-great-grandchildren Emma and Luke Tamm.

He was preceded in death by his parents James and Jesse Sheldon; son Donald Sheldon; brother James (Kaye) Sheldon; and sister, Eunice (Bill) Hensgen.


Bob enjoyed spending weekends and summers at Lake of the Ozarks. He enjoyed fishing, boating, hunting, bowling, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. He loved life, and lived it to the fullest. He was dearly loved, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
