Robert David Webb

November 7, 1956 — October 4, 2024

Maryland Heights, Missouri

Robert David Webb, known affectionately as "Rob" or “Bob” was born on November 7, 1956, in St. Louis, Missouri. His kindness and care for family and friends was a constant throughout his life as his warmth, generosity and intelligence was a gift to everyone who met him.

Rob dedicated 49 years to his career as a Tool and Die Maker with Vishion Tool and Machine Company. This was not merely a job for him; it was a labor of love that he took immense pride in and cherished deeply. His commitment to his work mirrored his approach to life; resilient and unwavering in his ability to solve complex problems. Rob's skill and commitment created connections and life-long respect from his Vishion family and for those he worked with throughout the industry.

Above all, Rob cherished his roles as husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was a constant source of support, not just to his family, but also within his wide circle of friends, neighbors and acquaintances. The laughter and joy of those Rob cared for was the foundation of his life, amplifying his quiet strength.

Rob engaged in life with many varied interests and skills that revealed a man with a solid sense of himself and a richly curious soul willing to be connected to the world. An amazing story-teller, it was a treat when Rob shared his life adventures. Rob had an uncontained zest for life casually taking on new challenges and soaking up all that life had to offer.

Rob said goodbye peacefully in his home with his beloved wife, Leah, by his side on October 4, 2024 leaving behind a legacy steeped in love and memories from his treasured life. He is reunited with his parents, Robert and Inez, who welcome their son with open arms. His devoted sisters, Dee and Iris, carry on his spirit, as do his loving wife, children and grandchildren who will forever keep him in their hearts.

As we remember Rob, let his life serve as a reminder to be open to adventure, celebrate family and loved ones, and to appreciate the world and her wonderful possibilities. In the embrace of his family, Rob found his greatest joy, and in their hearts, his memory will forever endure.

To honor Rob's remarkable life and the joy he brought to everyone around him, a Memorial Gathering to share stories and celebrate his life will take place on November 7 , 2024, from 4 PM to 6 PM with a memorial service to follow at the Newcomer Funeral Home in Chesterfield, Missouri.
